First weekend in November. Halloween. Friday is cold and wet and the cloud cover so thick you can feel the weight of it. We escape to the summer house on Orust to sit infront of a warm fire and sip some red wine.
Saturday morning the clouds have cleared and it’s a beautiful sunny day, perfect for a long walk to find mushrooms and take some photos. Not all the trees are bare yet and there is still some colour but it’s definitely the season of death and decay.
Evening comes quickly now. Send the drone up to get some afternoon light over the autumn landscape. It’s a moonless night with some wispy clouds but the stars are quite visible. There was talk of the northern aurora being visible this far south but if it was I didn’t see it.
