Sunday the 29th of December 2019 turned out to be even greyer and duller than Saturday the 28th. A thick mist of atomized water droplets hung in the air killing any semblance of daylight. It was actually a little warmer with around +6°C but it definitely wasn’t warm.
Our friends Hilde and Daniel invited us to their house for fika. Afterward we braved a walk down to nabbarna, where we spend warm, sunny summer days sunbathing and swimming. Hard to imagine on a day like this. Cooper dipped his paws and nearly went in the water to fetch a stick but changed his mind at the last minute.
These are short days and by 3 pm it’s starts getting dark, by 4 pm it’s pitch black. Since about a week back the days are getting longer, if only by minutes, but it is comforting to think it’s heading in the right direction.
