In-between days

In-between days

Christmas is slowly slipping over into New Year. In Sweden we call these lazy days the “in-between days”. We sleep late, eat left-overs from the our smörgåsbord, and take long dog walks to make the most of the few daylight hours. At the summer house we can light a fire and let Cooper roam free.

The sun broke through the thick clouds for a few seconds and the temperature has dropped to just below zero. At least it isn’t raining. Should not complain however, brother has been forced to leave his home in the Blue Mountains outside Sydney because of the mega-fire raging there at the moment. At the time of writing it is still standing.

The house in the pictures has nothing to do with the story.
