Cooper has been with us for just over a week now and it feels like we are starting to get to know each other. There are fewer accident indoor but it’s easier to take him outside here at the summer house compared to running down two flights of stairs in town.

He’s definitely a puppy and gets up to mischief but he is alert, intelligent and quite cool. It’s very clear that he loves people and seems particularly fond of children. When Leo turns up he gets ecstatic and is all over him wagging his little tail frenetically.

No long walks yet but we are making little excursions further and further from the house. He is curious about everything. One time he came bounding in from outside with a huge earthworm in his mouth.
