Warm and humid night aboard Stella but we all slept pretty well anyway. Warm and overcast this morning. Started the day with a fantastic breakfast with fresh mangoes, yogurt, toast and espresso coffee. A dip off the boat to freshen up before heading off to do some shopping. By this time the rain started coming down by the bucket load and we were not the only people at the shopping centre. Stocked up on food, drink, hats and flipflops before going down to downtown Surfers Paradise for lunch. Weather just got worse so we went back to the boat to drink some ice cold sparkling Shiraz to Deb’s amazing beetroot and gin marinated salmon.

A game of Boganology (a deviant Aussie variation of Monopoly) brought back some memories of growing up Down Under. Some things were a little difficult to explain to the Swedish family members. 

Barbied steaks, including some kangaroo, made for a fantastic dinner. Deb’s cooking aboard Stella is legendary.
