Spent a couple of nights at the summer house on Orust to wind down from the festive season’s hustle and bustle. Temperature dropped from just above zero when Roxy and I arrived, to 12 below the day after. A good sprinkling of snow overnight and we woke up to a wintery landscape.
A crackling fire kept the cottage warm and cosy, even if the water pipes in the basement were frozen solid in the morning. Had to boil snow to make morning coffee.
Taking the ferry to the mainland and back to Göteborg at around 5 pm the sun set behind Orust firing up the sky with colour.
