Thursday is a public holiday and the start of a long weekend. These are strange times and it’s hard to tell a long weekend from any other weekend when you are laid off and the world is in limbo because of a wicked virus.
Anyway, we head to Orust and the summer house. It is less than 2 hours drive from home so it fall within the recommendations from the Swedish health authorities. It means we can go home if we get sick and not overload the local hospital. Social distancing is not a problem out here.
It’s the beginning of summer and Thursday is sunny and warm. We sit outside and have breakfast for the first time this year. Other than that there is not much to say. We just soak up the sun and the peace and quiet.
…except Cooper, he is not so interested in keeping still.
