A perfect Adelaide day. Sky is blue and the temperature went from 23° in the morning to nearly 30° in the afternoon.

Went in to Adelaide Central Market to do some shopping. It is a symphony of colorful fruit and vegetables. Mangoes the size of melons, exotic fruits we never see in Sweden, and a whole shop full of different kinds of Australian honey.

Walked up to Rundle Mall and had a look around the shops. It was quiet when we got there but filled up quickly with Christmas shoppers.

In the afternoon we dropped in on my dear friends John & Jill and were treated to a fantastic lunch in the backyard. John and I don’t see each other much but communicate regularly over the internet. It is fantastic to be here and see him (and Jill) in person.

Back at Cathy’s house the clan had gathered and we had dinner together on the porch in the warm afternoon.
