Not sure that we gave Coburg a fair chance. Didn’t see much the previous night and, as soon as we’d had breakfast we hit the road again this time aiming for Tangermünde, another ChatGPT suggestion. Only 360 kms this time but there were few autobahn sections so a lot of smaller roads and 30 km/h through small townships.

We arrived at the hotel in Tangermünde at 3 pm and could check in and still have plenty of time to look around. Here there was more to see. A small walled township on the banks of the Elbe with well preserved old half-timbered buildings, plenty of biergartens, restaurants and pubs. We walked around, had a drink, and then when and had a meal at a Greek(!) restaurant with a biergarten.
