We are four days from the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year. From December 21 the days will get longer and eventually the colours will come back and life as we know it will return. Hard to believe on a day like today with skies clogged with thick clouds and a feeling that the sun has abandoned us.

Roxy and I took a walk from the summer house to “nabbarna” where we soak up the sun and swim in the sea in the summer time. Hard to believe shivering in a thick winter jacket, woolen socks and heavy boots…
