Even though the days are getting noticably longer winter has not yet lost its grip and lets us know by dropping the temperature below feezing and letting it snow. Woke up Saturday morning at the summer house to snow flakes falling and a white, frosty cover on the ground. As the day progressed the sky cleared and we decided to walk with Roxy down to the water. The air was completely still and the water was like a mirror. Big fluffy clouds on a deep blue sky reflected in Havstensfjorden. The receding tide left a black border between the snow covered cliffs and the waters edge. The hot coffee and cake we brought for “fika” just distracted us from revelling in the magnificent scenery.
