A week after hurricane Florence hit North Carolina in the US, hurricane Knud rolled across Denmark and over the west coast of Sweden. For all the media hype it did not turn out to be the disaster anticipated, but there was some damage from fallen trees and the usual power blackouts.
After an intense period of work related traveling it was out to the summer house despite the hurricane warning. Drove through some intense rain showers heading out of Göteborg but by the time I got to the ferry to go to Orust the rain subsided. It was blowing hard and the water was frothing but the sky was magnificent with the setting sun lighting the storm clouds making them appear to be on fire. Perfect photography weather!
