Second Saturday in August is Tractor Day at Myckleby hembygdsförening (historical society). Amazing creations in agricultural machinery are brought out of barns and haysheds and proudly displayed for the judges to peruse and, hopefully, award with a diploma. Locals and summer guests crowd around vintage cars and motorbikes in all conditions. There are flea markets, homemade jams and cordials, horse and carriage rides and, always, Myckleby Church in the background. Whoever orders the weather always does an outstanding job…
